FAQs
What service should I book?
All new clients should book one of the following three options:
1) New Client Consultation & Facial for a customized skincare regimen, treatment plan, and signature facial experience to jumpstart your skincare journey.
2) Skincare Consultation for a customized skincare regimen with the help of a licensed esthetician. (Your initial investment will be used towards the purchase of your recommended skincare regimen day of consultation.)
3) Acne Bootcamp Intro if you are committed to the acne clearing journey with your acne specialist, Cassie. Acne Bootcamp consists of bi-weekly skin treatments and committed use of recommended skincare twice daily. ($50 of your initial investment will be used towards the purchase of your recommended skincare regimen day of service.)
All returning clients may book any skincare treatment they desire, but it is strongly encouraged to book services based on what Cassie recommends for your skin.
Where are you located?
The Studio’s physical address:
111 Bernard St E.
West St. Paul, MN 55118
It is the former location of The Spa at Mechanix + Co. and is sandwiched in between The Salon & The Suite at Mechanix + Co.
Where can I park?
Parking is available directly in front of The Studio in the 30 minute parking spots on Bernard Street. These spots are reserved for you and won’t be ticketed as long as you are a client. Should those spots be filled, you may park in the Bernard Plaza parking lot directly off Robert Street South on the north side of the building or in front of the house along Bernard Street as long as a snow emergency is not in place.
How do I check-in?
As there is no receptionist, you may not be greeted upon your arrival. Incase there is no one to greet you and you are a new client, check for a release form on the front desk that has your name on it. Fill that out to the best of your ability and have seat while you wait. You may help yourself to a complimentary beverage or snack or the bathroom through the archway and on the left.
How should I prepare for my skin treatment?
Avoid exfoliating products such as retinols & scrubs a few days before your treatment as using them may make your skin more reactive during the treatment. If you are a new client, please familiarize yourself with your current medications and prescription topicals as well as your current skincare routine. Taking pictures with your phone can be a helpful reference when you are filling out the release form.
