Commit to clearing your acne for good with the help of an Acne Expert. During this introductory visit we will discuss your skin history, your specific type of acne, and the potential lifestyle factors that may be contributing to it. Then we will design a skincare regimen that will be used twice daily to clear breakouts and prevent acne from forming at home. After our in-depth analysis, you’ll receive your very first Acne Bootcamp Treatment to get you started on your clear skin journey.

This exfoliating skin treatment is designed to be done every two weeks in tandem with your skincare routine. During each treatment, your skin will be evaluated and the strength of your at-home products may be adjusted for continued improvement. After this evaluation, your Acne Expert will give you a customized skin treatment that will include extractions along with a hydrating enzyme or chemical peel to remove cell buildup and prevent future breakouts from forming.

What does participating in Acne Bootcamp entail?
With the help of a licensed esthetician and certified Acne Expert, Acne Bootcamp consists of in-studio treatments preformed every two weeks along with professionally recommended skincare routine used twice daily to treat and prevent acne formation.What is an Acne Expert? An Acne Expert is licensed esthetician that has been certified through Face Reality’s Acne Expert Program. This program educates each esthetician on the many factors that contribute to acne and how to clear the skin without harsh prescription drugs through recommended skincare, in-studio treatments, and lifestyle adjustments.
Will I purge during Acne Bootcamp?
Since all acne starts as an accumulation of sticky skin cells deep within the pore, it is likely you will purge at the beginning of your Acne Bootcamp journey. Although annoying, it is a vital step to get your skin clear. While there is no guarantee on how long your skin will purge, most cases of purging begin to subside by month 3 or 4.What happens when my acne is cleared?
Once your acne is officially cleared, we will start you on maintenance program to continue to keep your skin clear. This involves continued use of recommended products along with regular skin treatments every 4-6 weeks. Many clients also opt to treat any leftover scarring or dark marks with additional corrective treatments like microneedling.Do I have to use the skincare my Acne Expert recommends?
Product usage and compliance is the key to success when it comes to Acne Bootcamp. If you do not want to use the products your Acne Expert recommends, you will not be able to participate the treatment series.What if I can’t commit to Acne Bootcamp but still want to clear my acne?
Not participating in the bootcamp doesn’t mean you won’t be able to clear your skin. As Acne Experts, we believe everyone should have access to clear skin. We can still help through the guided use of skincare at home as well as some skin treatments in the studio. It is important to remember achieving clear skin will take longer overall if you are not participating in Acne Bootcamp.
